Curry King has a swinging time with "The Boss"

AN AVOWED MANCHESTER UNITED fan, Curry King Sanjay Majhu's dream came true last month when he won a bid at the Sportsman's Ball in aid of the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice for a day of golf with 'The Boss' - Man U manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

The dream day started when Six Alex arrived at the exclusive Loch Lomond Golf Club by helicopter to hook up with Sanjay and colleague Narinder Agerwall (an accomplished golfer and a huge fan of Sir Alex), together with a small group of other lucky golfers for breakfast before teeing off. It was decided over breakfast that each player would donate £5 for the winner of the tournament which would then be placed on the national lottery, with any winnings then donated to the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.

At the conclusion of the round, Sanjay and Narinder dined with Sir Alex and the rest of the party in the conservatory. It was then that Sanjay took the opportunity to request that Sir Alex sign the eight Man United tops that Sanjay had brought with him with a view to auctioning off at future charitable events.

The Boss was more than happy to oblige and, when he proceeded to give each member of the golfing party a copy of his autobiography, Sanjay promised to return the favour by helping spice up Six Alex's life by sending him a copy of the new Ashoka Cook book!

A couple of days later, Sanjay received a letter from Sir Alex, thanking him for the generous donation he had made to the Hospice and for a most enjoyable day out. Needless to say, the letter now takes pride of place on the wall of Sanjay's office to remind him of the day his dream came true on the banks of Loch Lomond!
