Ashoka West End, the first Harlequin Restaurant to open in Glasgow, was an instant hit among the city's curry lovers, owing to the eatery's vast selection of mouth-watering Indian cuisine and prime location. News of this Indian gem travelled fast, fuelling the growth of the Harlequin empire.
Today, Harlequin has 18 unrivalled restaurants throughout Scotland, with big names including Kama Sutra, Ashoka Shak, and Spice of Life . Each and every restaurant has its own unique offering, from prestigious fine dining to time sensitive takeaway, and it doesn't stop at Indian cuisine either.
Harlequin Restaurants broadened its horizons when it launched its first ever Spanish tapas restaurant Las Ramblas , in 2007, followed by Torres in early 2008. Critical acclaim was quickly bestowed, ensuring that these two Spanish additions have gone from strength to strength. Brimming with authentic Andalucian-style and ambience, these must-see eateries have rapidly established themselves as two of Scotland's top tapas restaurants, owing to their stunning decor and attractively priced tapas dishes.
